Toronto-based photographer Darren Goldstein is a highly skilled IATSE 667 Unit Still Photographer with over 15 years of experience specializing in on-set Unit Photography for film & television, Gallery Photography, and Art Department & Prop Photography. He has captured breathtaking moments on the sets of various productions, from top-rated series like “The Boys” and “Murdoch Mysteries” to A1 Lifestyle series such as “The Property Brothers” and “Holmes Family Rescue”.
Throughout his career, Darren has had the privilege of photographing some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Rod Stewart, Katy Perry, Gord Downie, Ron MacLean, Michael Bublé, and Sarah McLaughlan, among many others.
In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Darren has photographed Provincial Premiers, Toronto Mayors, and Championship athletes over the years. He has also photographed each standing Prime Minister dating back to 2001 when he first captured Prime Minister Jean Chétien’s appearance on the Canadian talk show “Open Mike with Mike Bullard” (where Goldstein was the house photographer for four seasons).
He has photographed key art for numerous productions, such as “Murdoch Mysteries” (seasons 14, 15 and 16), “Odd Squad”, “Endlings” & “Love It or List It”.
With an unwavering passion for his craft, Darren looks forward to continuing to create visually stunning photographs on the sets of television and film productions. He resides in Toronto's East end with his wife and three talented daughters and are known for their annual Halloween costumes depicting various pop-culture icons and characters.
